Fair encounters and samples are transferred to a digital reality

Cavi-art®, which produces seaweed caviar, had to stop their major focus on fairs when Covid-19 shut down the whole world. But with a clear digital strategy, we helped them move their encounters with customers online and get taste samples directly to the target audiences.Since the customers were not able to come to the tastings at the fairs, the tastings had to come to the customers instead.

Cavi-art's challenge

Cavi-art® has for a number of years gotten their new customers at fairs. But when corona made its entrance worldwide, they lost a central sales channel and a way to present seaweed caviar to their customers. However, they still wanted to give prospective customers the opportunity to taste their different products.

Our solution

Cavi-art’s products must be seen, felt, and tasted. Therefore, the strategy was to move the tastings online. We helped Cavi-art® get a clear online presence: The website was redesigned to make it more user-friendly, and we provided the target audiences with a large amount of relevant content.

Since Cavi-art® was no longer able to hand out samples at fairs, we created a landing page where the target audience could request a free sample. In this way, Cavi-art’s salespeople could contact the right people, and the potential customers got the chance to try seaweed caviar. All leads were collected with HubSpot via a form that was integrated with Cavi-art’s website.

Using ads on Facebook and LinkedIn, we directed the target audience to the page where they could order the product samples and submit their information.

The result

The efforts resulted in a large number of new leads and several customers. It became possible for Cavi-art® to reach and service new customers all over the world and let even more people enjoy sustainable seaweed caviar.
